Description:

Position Summary

The Account Executive position is a hospital-based or integrated sites of care-based position focused on launching, educating and selling the GENOSYL DS in the assigned institutional accounts. This includes educating clinicians on the clinical benefits of inhaled nitric oxide and GENOSYL DS to facilitate and gain approved formulary access for appropriate product utilization to exceed business and customer objectives with assigned hospitals. The Account Executive also has accountability for pulling through contracts and facilitating account and clinician access opportunities to ensure achievement of Vero’s business goals.

Qualifications

  • Recent acute care hospital or IDN site of care experience in the assigned territory/accounts
  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in hospital sales experience within the respiratory medical device or pharmaceutical sector
  • Respiratory Therapy Background Preferred or recent sales experience in related Hospital Critical Care Areas
  • Success planning and executing a new product launch or solution launch into hospital setting
  • Highly motivated, results driven individual
  • Proven track record of sales within a hospital environment of the assigned territory
  • Must be able to work well independently and as a team member; under pressure and shifting priorities
  • Self-Starter with demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) presentation and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timelines are met, as well as the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and continued industry related education
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork
  • Ability to establish and build relationships and rapport with a diverse customer base
  • Strong ability to learn and use technical product knowledge
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Valid Driver's license

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
  • 50-75% of travel
Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Qualifies accounts, negotiates contracts under guidance of Regional Account Director, and allocates resources to customers
  • Develop and provide training and support to Vero Biotech customers in alignment with Clinical education team
  • Develop territory and account level plans to grow product utilization, formulary access and expand customer base within assigned region.
  • Conducts discovery to identify new accounts/sales opportunities
  • Increase product access and sales in geographical area by navigating the institutional formulary approval process, as well as educating customers on appropriate use of Vero Products.
  • Collaborate and communicate with partnered Vero Clinical Educators on all needs and opportunities
  • Provides strategic/tactical feedback to corporate office
  • Understand multiple interdependencies within the account, consider customer treatment goals and needs, and maximize account performance by appropriate solutions and stakeholders.
  • Partners with hospital treatment committees throughout the care pathway on appropriate disease state protocols.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customer opinion leaders and hospitals, including Physicians, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Staff, Biomed, Procurement etc…
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals and quotas
  • Must be regionally located in markets near our customers
  • Other duties as assigned by National Sales Director
